New weekend reading

 Hello everyone,

Just a late night, quick note to say there's a lovely little reading on Instagram for the weekend... do enjoy.  

I can't believe it's nearly the end of November!  

I will be making some new bracelets and medicine bags this week... next weekend is our annual "Open House" on Saturday, December 4th, from 10 AM until 4 PM.  It's been difficult not having a solstice gathering for the past 2 years, and Covid variants are resurging.  Be safe out there and enjoy the video...

Challening couple of weeks

 It goes without saying that into every life a little rain must fall...  Last week we said goodbye to our beloved little dog Larry.  He is laid to rest with Peaches, Angel Piggles, Zuna Piggles, Nonny, Mr. Bill, Bob, Max, Starr and Spunky...  We will miss him - the house is very quiet.  

However, Angeni made it home this weekend for almost 2 full days.  It was a very practical weekend of changing tires and doing winter prep.  We had help from some of our shamanic lodge friends and this made it all go smoothly and not as taxing on Brian - he does well for having turned 75 this month.  We get by with a lot of help from our friends!

Weekend reading Nov. 13/14

 Just a heads up that I've just posted a new video over on Instagram, which applies right now.  It's quick - just over 4 minutes, and utilizes the Stardust Lenormand by Cynthia Fisher and The Spacious Tarot by Carrie Mallow and Annie Ruygt.

Cleansing and avtivating decks

 It's been awhile since we've done a video on technique, so I am sharing the link for how to cleanse and clear decks.  This applies to a brand new deck being unwrapped for the first time, to one you've used for years and countless readings...  Clearing and cleansing is something we do to crystals and all our sacred objects on new and full moons, eclipses, seasonal changes and whenever they've been used in contact with someone - as in a healing ceremony.  Brian joins me in the demonstration process!!

 Well here we are - Brian's 75th birthday.  We're celebrating with making videos for the week!  Kinda weird, but we have to seize the day...  busy days ahead...

Weekend reading for Nov. 6/7

 Pop over to instagram for the latest mini-reading to cover the weekend...  it is Brian's 75th birthday this weekend, also.  My how time - like the crows in the reading - are flies by.  I love the decks used this weekend.  They're both by MJ Cullinane, of Seattle, Washington.  I've got a few of her decks over the years, but I really love these ones.

New Tarot Deck!

This week, for the new moon on the 4th, I felt the need to do something different in addition to my weekly video.  The answer came in the mail - a special new tarot by Chris-Ann entitled "The Tarot of Curious Creatures".

It is a whimsical set of 78 traditional RWS cards, plus an additional "Fool" card for one to choose from...  Animal heads are artfully positioned on human bodies.  Humorous and clever, I find this a refreshing deck.  I will have no problem using this for client readings.
