Angel Cardfs for New moon reading of May 11, 2021

Kwe kwe, Boozhoo, Ahniin, T'a nisi - in this post I am adding the angel cards from the reading posted on YouTube for this new moon of "Storyteller", occuring at 2:59 PM on May 11/21.  In the heat of the moment, I neglected to include these angel cards on camera.  The downside is it requires me to create this extra bit of writing, but the upside is I can spend more time elaborating on the cards themselves.

So, without further ado, let's get crackin'!

The thrust of this morning's reading concerns being turned inward and seeing ourselves as separate: allowing negative thoughts to roll around in our heads and manifesting things which you don't want to deal with… The shaman cards, the ancestor cards, and now these cards all point to ways to get out of those negative/introspective machinations.

The first angel card is the nine of earth/pentacles, and this is about standing back and absolutely owning – being proud of – what you have accomplished so far.  My spirits are suggesting that this relates most directly to the past year and 1/4 that we've been dealing with pandemic.  It might seem fearful and "doom and gloom", but we need to applaud ourselves for the tenacity with which we have altered our lifestyles.  We are far more are resilient, resourceful and  cocreative than we're giving ourselves credit for!  So this angel is asking us to take the blinders off and recognize the good things… If you could do great things in the past, imagine what you could do to create the future!

I got a chuckle out of this second card, the moon.  This card is associated with Archangel Haniel, and deals with the subconscious, intuition, and divine gifts.  She can help you see the truth in any situation.  This card says we are amazingly intuitive and divinely gifted people.  It's natural at times to become aware that something is at work in the universe that we don't have complete clarity about.  You may be getting signs in the form of synchronicity's, psychic hits or nighttime dreams which seem particularly vivid or powerful.  Don't let it worry you, nor allow fear to take over.  Instead, ask, and give permission to your angels to give you clear messages that are easy to understand.  Pay attention when your intuition tells you something or someone isn't quite what they seem.  While this is a new moon tomorrow and we won't be able to see her, bask in the glow of the magical moon energy and know that like any good shaman, your divine gifts will guide you. Know that even though things are unseen, they will be revealed because the ancestor cards told us so.  Change anything in your life that isn't working, even if it means removing people, changing jobs or letting go.  Do not be afraid of your psychic awareness.

The 3rd card is the page of air, or swords, in a regular tarot deck.  This court card can be considered a very challenging one as the brilliance and bluntness of the person this represents [or an aspect of yourself] might suggest arrogance, or at least bluntness and intrusion to a fault. This card reminds us that we are capable now of youthful mental energy.  It can be a person whose mind goes, "a mile a minute" full of all kinds of thoughts bouncing around… But this can also represent spiritless, reckless thoughts and listening to garbage information which leads to actions which one regrets.  This card is reminding us to use our mind in a good way and that we have control for what we think and believe.

The last angel card is the page of pentacles, a very earthbound, court card denoting practical thinking, and organized inclinations in this Moon cycle.  It's showing us that we are well-researched about what it is we are attempting to do, as pentacles/earth cards are all about family, home and work.  This card is asking us to quit researching and actually start doing, it is a phase of energy conducive to extraordinary accomplishments.  The last card aligns with Jupiter moving into Pisces with this new moon – Jupiter is all about having and creating plenty!

Just a quick note about angels – angels are not simply a Christian phenomenology.  They are transcultural and and pantheological in their scope.  My elders related them to star beings and winged ones, merely messengers on behalf of the creator.

I hope you enjoyed our video and these additional angel cards.  The tarot classes start soon and they are free on YouTube.  Keep well until the next posting.  Blessings, Kathryn
