It's always interesting how this "down time" really isn't slow and easy. I'd love nothing more than to curl up into my bed with a cozy blanket, but that isn't happening... it's the final few days of the 13th moon cycle "Becomes Her Vision". I am contemplating what to put on my vision board over the weekend...
I used to make a vision board collage out of magazine cutouts. In recent years I'm too aware of the trees being used for paper, so we don't have physical magazines. Thus, this year I am adopting a virtual board. It allows for aeclectic placement of very precisely curated images, and removes the issue of shifting cutouts around which are smeared in Elmer's glue.

Well, the holidays are in full flow... Angeni made it home this year, despite the Omicron avalanche. We've had some nice meals together and time to chat... Like most of us, I've desperately needed some down time. I want to do my vision board for 2022 next weekend, so it's a week for perculating some manifestations for objectives.
Some objectives are close to birthing: the "Spirit of the Teaching Rocks Oracle", featuring pictographs and a silk screened playcloth are in the works, along with a 108 card tarot. I want to do a Lenormand style deck, too. We're forced to streamline our teaching/classes to different formats. There are some big changes which already happened, and a further fine-tuning. We're downsizing in so many ways, without the physical move, yet. I'm 65 soon, but not ready to retire - lots to do.

It's the holidays officially (at least in my head). Kids are home from school, and it looks like with Omicron it's back to home-schooling after the break... while I sense the frustration people experience with this pandemic, there is an end in sight. I'm personally so grateful that, at my age, I'm not still in healthcare... I feel for those front line medical workers pushing through this holiday season.
That being said, the 3 readings we just filmed were magical. There is one up right now on Instagram - I hope you can spare 4 minutes to watch. It might help with the holiday stress.

It goes without saying that into every life a little rain must fall... Last week we said goodbye to our beloved little dog Larry. He is laid to rest with Peaches, Angel Piggles, Zuna Piggles, Nonny, Mr. Bill, Bob, Max, Starr and Spunky... We will miss him - the house is very quiet.
However, Angeni made it home this weekend for almost 2 full days. It was a very practical weekend of changing tires and doing winter prep. We had help from some of our shamanic lodge friends and this made it all go smoothly and not as taxing on Brian - he does well for having turned 75 this month. We get by with a lot of help from our friends!

Just a heads up that I've just posted a new video over on Instagram, which applies right now. It's quick - just over 4 minutes, and utilizes the Stardust Lenormand by Cynthia Fisher and The Spacious Tarot by Carrie Mallow and Annie Ruygt.
It's been awhile since we've done a video on technique, so I am sharing the link for how to cleanse and clear decks. This applies to a brand new deck being unwrapped for the first time, to one you've used for years and countless readings... Clearing and cleansing is something we do to crystals and all our sacred objects on new and full moons, eclipses, seasonal changes and whenever they've been used in contact with someone - as in a healing ceremony.
